Verdict

Bayan Kasirga can be forgiven a below par effort on the Fibresand at Southwell. She had been in good form over course and distance before that and remains 3lb higher than last month's win here. But SBRAASE won last year's renewal and was beaten only two lengths in a Class 2 contest at the track earlier in the month. A repeat effort should see James Tate's charge go close while Brandon Castle also drops back down in class but is proving hard to win with. Prolific course winner Idol Deputy scored again here last month but this longer trip has proved beyond him in the past.
