Verdict
The lightly-raced Broughtons Day was engaged in a Kempton apprentice race at 5.15 yesterday and wouldn't get a penalty if successful. Nacho Libre had dropped to a very tempting mark before his success at Kempton in November and a 5lb rise shouldn't cause too many concerns though he doesn't win very often, a remark that also applies to stable companion Wigram's Turn. Yankee Storm completed a quick double around here last summer and is back on the kind of mark that can make him competitive but this can go to WEST LEAKE, who bounced back to winning ways at Kempton and still looks well treated.
