A small but competitive field for this conditions stakes. Flying Treaty has been in good form of late winning his last two races. The gelding who is now with Anne Stokell defeated Loyal Tycoon last time out, that horse has since franked the form and he will be hard to beat but his best form on the AW has come at Southwell and it will be interesting to see if he is as effective back on this surface. Middleton Grey was behind Flying Treaty last time out but he should finish a lot closer on these revised terms and he is proven on the surface as he is already a course winner. Diamond Max finished third behind Flying Treaty on his last run and he is five pounds better off for four lengths. Intricate Web could also go well but his best form is over a longer trip. Westbound Road and Razkalla both won maidens on there last starts, are from the powerful David Loder yard but have long absences to overcome. The market may prove the best guide as to what is expected. The remainder need to improve on there latest form to take a hand in the finish.
