In depth

Verdict

Billy Roberts finally won on the all-weather when scoring over track and trip but is 5lb higher today. A couple of these have gone close since returning from lay-offs including Lingfield runner-up Who Cares Wins and Red Bond, who finished in front of County Wicklow when third here recently. MYTHICAL MADNESS hasn’t won on the all-weather for some time but completed a double at Epsom during the summer. Racing off a 9lb lower mark and dropping down in class, David O’Meara’s veteran gets a speculative vote.
