My Target was winning off a mark of 102 in his prime but this looks his level now having ended a long losing run with a surprise victory at Newcastle last time. Sea Fox won a lower grade contest over track and trip on his first start after wind surgery and could go well again but ALMUFTI is taken to make the most of today’s drop in class. He’s yet to race over further than 7f but has been competing in tough handicaps on the all-weather recently and Hugo Palmer’s charge should make a bold bid if lasting home. Kaser won here last month but remains 5lb higher while Mickey’s earlier win at Haydock came in a lower grade and Kempton runner-up Buckingham has been treading water off similar marks.
