Verdict

An ultra tight race where loads can be given chances but the vote is tentatively given to Paul Hanagan's mount CAPE KIMBERLEY. Tony Newcombe's charge has now dropped below his last winning mark and has been running with credit under heavier loads recently. Her sole effort at this venue is encouraging so she might be the one. Kieran Fallon is an eye-catching bookingon Cawdor who is well treated based on his turf form while Charles Parnell was easy enough in victory at Ayr but is up 7lb in the handicap. The Happy Hammer was only just held off this mark last time so has a clear chance on that but Cape Kimberley looks well-treated.
