Once has clearly progressed from his initial start and looks capable of landing a race of this nature. Michael Bell's charge was a staying-on second in a similar contest over 7f at Warwick earlier in the month and should prove ideally suited by the step up in trip here. Atahuelpa confirmed the merit of his promising debut effort when a narrow winner over this trip at Chepstow next time but may struggle to concede weight all round while Wathiq has not progressed as expected and now has something to prove.
