    In depth

    Verdict

Haabis was narrowly beaten in a lower grade over track and trip last time but a host of these are less exposed. Of those, CHOSEN WORD finished fourth in a tougher race at Doncaster on his handicap debut and may prove good enough at this level despite returning from a lay-off. Lopito, Poppy Love and Bunker Hill Lad are all worth a second glance handicapping for the first time but Caledonia Duchess looks no nearer winning after 18 starts.
