      Course and distance winner Nostalgie struggled in soft ground at Newmarket off today’s mark last time but better is expected back here. Favourite Royal went close over 7f here in between modest efforts on Turf while Singing Sands has yet to threaten in handicaps. Redcar third Royal Icon makes her handicap debut along with GHADAAYER (NAP) but the latter is preferred having won a maiden race at Catterick on last month’s reappearance and further progress is expected over this extra distance.
