        Verdict

        SHAMASH scored over track and trip before going close again over 1m6f here on Tuesday. He’s worth sticking with in his current frame of mind racing off the same mark today. Ravens Quest has similar form to the selection having also won here last month with The Gay Cavalier back in fourth but failed to figure last time raised 5lb. It’s close to three years since Castilo Del Diablo last won a race and Byres Road has plenty to prove stepping up in distance after modest efforts over a mile.
