tracked leaders in 3rd, outpaced over 4f out, weakened over 1f out
led after 4f, ridden over 2f out, soon headed, kept on same pace

led 4f, chased leaders, led 2f out, headed over 1f out, no extra
in rear and in touch, led over 1f out, held on well towards finish
This looks tricky with all five intended runners having a chance. Red Royalist finished in front of Moon of Baroda when runner-up over today’s trip at Kempton but the latter will be sharper for this while Alabaster may well improve stepping up in trip for Sir Mark Prescott’s yard. Chocolate Box returns to the Flat and has won over 2m at Chelmsford off a similar mark but MARKHAN has placed over hurdles over longer trips than this and, after going close back on the Flat at Dundalk recently, Gordon Elliott’s Irish raider may prove the one to side with.
Alabaster 5-1 (9-9) Led, pushed along 3f out, headed over 2f out, weakened over 1f out, 7th of 8, 11 3/4l behind Flaming Marvel (9-3) at Wolverhampton 1m 4f hcp (4) pol in Jan.
Chocolate Box (IRE) 13-2 (11-6) Raced in 2nd or 3rd, not fluent 2nd, led 3 out, soon headed, held last, kept on, 2nd of 7, 2 1/4l behind De Forgotten One (11-6) at Doncaster 2m 5f mdn (5) gd in Jan.
Markhan (USA) 6-1 (9-0) Chased clear leader, 4th halfway, headway travelling well early straight, ridden to challenge 1f out, under pressure and every chance inside final furlong, just failed, 2nd of 12, shd behind Park Row (9-0) at Dundalk 1m 4f hcp pol in Jan.
Red Royalist 11-2 (9-12) In touch in mid-division, improved 11f out, led 2f out, stayed on, headed close home, 2nd of 10, 1l behind Blazon (8-11) at Kempton 2m hcp (5) pol in Jan.
Moon of Baroda 7-1 (9-7) Mid-division, effort over 2f out, every chance over 1f out, lost 2nd towards finish, 4th of 10, 2 1/2l behind Blazon (8-11) at Kempton 2m hcp (5) pol in Jan.
