Verdict

A couple share the same handicap rating but Documenting is giving plenty of weight to the younger SOLAR GOLD. The former finished second at Chester last time but the latter finished in front of a subsequent winner when fourth at Newbury and Charlie Hills’ colt is preferred. Hateel failed to show the improvement expected when fourth at Newmarket and Wilbury Twist also disappointed at Goodwood, though it was soft going on that occasion. Brexiteer posted a better effort at Chelmsford recently but Domestic Way could prove a bigger danger having found only one too good at the same track on his debut.
