Verdict

Very First Blade almost followed up an earlier win at Southwell when finding only one too good over track and trip last time. He finished ahead of Kielty's Folly on that occasion but the latter was having his first start since March and could well turn the tables in this. MOSS HILL is making a meal of recording his first win and went very close once again on the Turf at Lingfield last time. A couple of narrow-margin defeats over course and distance earlier this year suggest Charlie Hills' charge can finally get off the mark in this. Spinning Ridge occasionally pops-up at this level and looks best of the rest.
