A further 6lb rise brought Exchequer’s winning run to an end at Kempton last time while Shamshon found one too good in this grade at Lingfield having won over the minimum trip earlier. Gulliver has switched yards since notching-up a hat-trick in 2017 and has been threatening to get his head back in front for David O’Meara recently but James Street came up short sent off favourite at Lingfield and takes on older sprinters today. SANAADH (NAP) was having only his second start for Michael Wigham when scoring over 7f at Newcastle last month in a first-time tongue-tie. There looks more to come from him and he gets the vote to go in again having won over today’s shorter distance in the past.
