Botham gets the confident vote in this maiden with Beech Games and Summerofsixtynine rating the main dangers. The selection was a good second behind Victory Quest last time out. That form looks rock solid in the context of this race and if he can reproduce that effort here he will be hard to beat. Beech Games rates the main danger on his latest fourth behind Sir Haydn; he looks sure to appreciate this longer trip and should be watched in the market. Summerofsixtynine has the highest BHA ratings of these but has not progressed as expected so can not be put forward with much confidence. Of the remainder, Gouranga and Hill Cloud have hinted at ability in the past but have not gone on and with this in mind Botham looks the one to be on.
