In depth

Verdict

Lord Commander won a maiden race at Newcastle last week but was beaten in handicaps before that. Graphite went close in maiden company at Pontefract last time and could figure but Spinnaka was well beaten at Brighton on her handicap debut. DARING GUEST won at Kempton last month and was beaten only a head back at the same track last time. He may prove good enough in his current form and is preferred to Air Of York and Logi over today’s distance.
