In depth

Verdict

Fade To Grey won twice over 2m on Polytrack back in 2012 but was having his first start since when a well beaten fourth here recently. Mahadee tries his hand at this longer trip for the first time having won a lower grade contest over 1m5f at Lingfield last week, but SINGZAK is preferred. The latter made all at this track before going close again when third over 2m at Kempton last time. He's likely to get his own way in the lead and Mick Easterby's charge makes most appeal.
