Sir Sandrovitch has been much improved of late but Richard Fahey's gelding may now be in the grip of the handicapper and preference is for Chatshow, who gets the vote over Cargo. The last mentioned won the voided race at Lingfield at the beginning of the month and has run well in defeat in two handicaps since then. Bobby Elliott's gelding should be thereabouts again but may once more have to settle for a minor role. Top weight Paddywack is gradually dropping to a fair mark and has to be respected on the pick of his form along with the reappearing Jagged, for who the booking of Eddie Ahern takes the eye. Savile's Delight showed improved form at Southwell last time but may not be suited by the drop back in trip and a bigger threat may come from Blueberry Rhyme. Paul Blockley's gelding has been given a break since his latest effort behind Old Bailey in December and holds claims if freshened up by the absence. Sir Ernest has more to do than when landing a seller over course and distance last time and the vote goes to Chatshow. Tony Carroll's gelding gained a deserved success when landing a similar contest over course and distance last time and has an obvious chance off his new mark of following up
