      Verdict

      Several have claims as they step up in trip. Toga Tiger has been thereabouts off similar marks of late and Maratha finished ahead of WAARIF over a mile at Chelmsford earlier in the month. But the latter went close over 1m2f at Newcastle before that and he gets the nod on that form. Irish challenger Perfect Soldier was runner-up at Leopardstown last time and is another attempting a longer distance. First Up found one too good over 1m2f at Epsom during the summer and has been hurdling subsequently.
