A tough race to call here for punters with very little between many of the leading lights but the principals look to be Charlottebutterfly, Kirstys Lad and Machinate and the narrow vote is given to Charlottebutterfly. The selection has been in good form of late and was a fair third behind Mr Napoleon off this mark last time out. That form looks solid and she is taken to regain the winning thread. Kirstys Lad rates the main danger on his latest fourth behind Alfie Tupper but that form has since been let down and he looks vulnerable under top weight. Machinate is another that could go well but this hold up performer will need luck in running and at likely odds he is taken on. Pauline's Prince is sure to have come on for her latest run, while Gwyllion could improve for the fitting of first time blinkers but for the winner we return to the in form Charlottebutterfly.
