From a short list containing Cross Of Lorraine, Ask No More and General Feeling, we wil side with Cross Of Lorraine. Scuba is edging back towards a winning all-weather mark and should be considered, while Zarabad has dropped to below a winning mark and, even though he has been out of sorts of late, a winning run cannot be ruled out. Ask No More looked to be on the way back last time and, because this lightly-raced runner's only win has come over today's trip, he must also be considered. General Feeling's course and distance win 12 months ago came from a 12-pounds higher mark, so he can be given claims on that basis, while Cross Of Lorraine finally delivered last time and the step up to seven should pose no problems so he gets a solid mention too. Finally, Plateau ought to have dropped to a competitive mark, but we have been saying that for a while now - although it will happen one day - and Buzzin' Boyzee made late gains over course and distance last time and could bag some money. For the selection, though, we will stick with Cross Of Lorraine.
