A winner at Dundalk, Mutadaawel journeys over from Ireland while One Cool Daddy won at Kempton last month but both are conceding stacks of weight to the younger horses including EMIRATES KNIGHT. The latter went close over track and trip in November and Roger Varian’s colt should be winning this year on that evidence. Dubai Philosopher was beaten only a length at Newcastle on his debut while Muraad looks another likely improver on his reappearance. Desert Son is a half-brother to a winner on the all-weather and worth noting along with fellow newcomer Desert Mission.
