Verdict

MOKAATIL ended last year with a victory at Nottingham and took up where he left off when scoring at Chelmsford on his return to action. He’s 5lb higher today but this is less competitive and an apprentice’s allowance helps his cause. Jack The Truth finished third behind the selection with the disappointing favourite Rock Sound further behind but Scale Force went close at Southwell last time having won over track and trip earlier. Mutabaahy is back on a winning mark and is preferred to the returning Grandfather Tom.
