      In depth

      Verdict

The 2015 Cesarewitch winner GRUMETI may not be the force of old but this looks well within his capabilities. He was well beaten on his only start on Tapeta at Newcastle in June but has dropped to such a lowly mark that he can go in again. Mick Easterby's Aldreth is only 3lb higher than when scoring at Chelmsford and has no problems with the trip but Lady Makfi shot up the weights as a result of her mid-summer hat-trick and was well beaten later. Rowlestone Lass could provide the main threat as she's just 3lb higher than her recent victory at Chelmsford and she's even better over today's longer trip.
