      Verdict

      Baldomero represents last year’s winning yard though never looked like catching the winner when second at Chelmsford earlier this month. Chichester beat Via Serendipity at Chelmsford two runs ago but the latter reversed running when going close at Lingfield with GREATGADIAN (NAP) back in fourth. However, Roger Varian’s charge had to be switched for a clear run on that first outing since September and is fancied to come out best today with normal luck in-running. Civil Law beat Society Red in a lower grade here and is also preferred to Ghasham.
