Quite a few with respectable claims, including a quintet of course and distance winners. INTERNATIONAL LAW falls into that category and has done the majority of his racing over the past nine months around here. He does need things to drop his way to enable him to arrive late on the scene but there should be a good pace on and a competitive effort is expected. Pope Gregory's winning run came to a halt here last time but he remains of interest along with Nezar, only raised 2lb for a cosy victory here last time. The leading threat though could well be Mac Mccarthy, who's taken well to this track this spring and remains attractively handicapped off a mark of 50.
