A difficult finale to solve and we will stick with Bought Direct to see off Smart Minister and Qobtaan. Robin Smith only has a small string but his horses are running well and with the very useful Lee Newnes aboard, he looks just about the percentage call. Smart Minister's breeding is more in line with sprinting but he has finished close up in a few mile events - most notably at Beverley when second to Acomb. Qobtaan has been one of the success stories of the introduction of Banded Stakes events. Sarah Bosley knows him well although the negative has to be as to how much he has shot up the ratings as a result of those successes. Pas De Surprise seems to show better form at Lingfield than Wolverhampton and while he has got on well before with Emma Folkes, they look to have it all to do. Desert Fury is watched in the market for any signs of interest. Bought Direct gets our selection in Monday's finale.
