        Verdict

        NEXT DOOR stepped up on her debut effort to take third at Thirsk in September. She's likely to have improved in the interim and gets the nod on her return ahead of those with more recent form. That includes Sewn Up, who has been placed here of late but has not shown any real progress, and Black Rider, who has every chance on his third over track and trip last week. Dutch Delight is another likely to finish closer but the selection's stablemate Jofranka is probably best watched.
