        Verdict

        Compton Prince finally lost his maiden tag at Bath in September but reverted to his previous modest form last time. Give Us Belle recorded his only win in 22 attempts when successful in an amateurs' race last month while age seems to be catching up with Steelcut as he's shown no improvement for a slide down the weights. FATHOM FIVE gets the token vote despite enduring a long barren spell has he's shown a bit more of late and it could be his turn today.
