Verdict
ALYDAY found only one too good at Newmarket on her debut in October. Sir Michael Stoute’s filly should be winning one of these events this year and is just preferred to Hidden Gem. The latter ran well on her recent introduction at Lingfield and makes more appeal than the returning pair Malmostosa and Caledonia Duchess. Dutch Treaty was well beaten on her debut but stablemate and newcomer Ray Of Light is a half-sister to a winner on the all-weather and Cliffhanger can count the smart duo Pastoral Player and Chil The Kite among her winning siblings.
