        Verdict

        QASSER was already clear of the rest when his rider dropped his whip in the closing stages over track and trip last time and he returned a cosy three-length winner. He has enough scope to defy a 7lb rise but the Irish raider Canon law is upped 9lb for winning here last month and will find this tougher. Lingfield winner Sequester went close again in both subsequent starts last year while Dubai Celebration is not easily ruled out only 2lb higher than when landing a double over track and trip last year.
