In depth

Verdict

Hurricane Coast has strong claims dropping into this lowly grade and can beat Mytton's Dream and Headland. this is the first time David Flood's charge has stooped as low as this and on the pick of his handicap form he should be head and shoulders above these rivals. On his most recent outing he was a close up seventh behind General Feeling at Windsor off a mark of 72, that form alone should be good enough today. Mytton's Dream was most impressive when winning over course and distance last time, but that was off a mark of 48 so he does have a bit to find with the selection, but he should be capable of reaching the frame. Headland ran well in a similar race to this at Southwell last time and appeals best of the others. So in a very weak affair Hurricane Coast should have too much class for his rivals and is a confident choice.
