        Verdict

        PIAZZA SAN PIETRO will take some stopping here and gets the vote, with Circle Dance next best. The Jeremy Gask-trained selection is rated well clear of these and a peek at the colt's form confirms that, so despite not having managed a win thus far he has been given some tough tasks. This is much the easiest opposition he has taken on in recent races and he can return from a break and show enough speed to break his own maiden tag. Circle Dance looks the main danger and has some solid form in his 13 starts to date, going close in his last two races. This surface is the slowest of the Polytracks and looking at his form it might not suit him quite so well but he can probably complete the forecast. Thoosa is well-related and has possibilities on her debut, while Jolly Ranch looks best of the others with racecourse experience. In truth though that is not saying much and we'll take Piazza San Pietro to get off the mark.
