        Verdict

        Weet Yer Turn looks the best of the Brisbourne battalion and he can take the scalps of Intavac Boy and Giddywell. The selection has been beaten off today's mark in the past but has the consistency of performance that others in this race lack and could be worth a try over tonight's extended trip. JP Guillambert is tried in an effort to rediscover the winning formula. Regency Red would not be without hope if reproducing his recent run behind Boz but does not look to be stable pick on bookings. Desert Hawk's last win here was at the turn of the year. Intavac Boy has gone up a further 2lb without winning. He could still be at the right end of the handicapper to take his chance, Giddywell's better turf efforts have been over shorter so it was surprising that he ran so well on a recent foray over this trip at Wolverhampton. The market is watched. Autograph Hunter has been tried under severe hold-up tactics in the past over this trip and will need to be ridden more positively to take a hand here. Failed sprinter, Cadwell should be noted in the market as there is plenty of stamina in the pedigree. Weet Yer Turn has it to prove over the trip but looks to have solid claims if staying.
