Verdict
INDIAN TRIFONE made a promising debut when runner-up at Redcar last May and a couple of subsequent winners have come out of the race. Ed Walker's colt gets the vote on his return despite conceding plenty of weight to the younger horses. Stoneham has proved best of the three-year-olds so far but one of the newcomers may well be good enough to get involved. Of that pair, Mink Coat is a half-sister to a winner but Nothing Special can include a couple of all-weather winners amongst her winning relatives and makes more appeal.
