In depth

Formwatch

Inthaar Well-bred type by Nashwan but pretty modest judged on three efforts so far.

Kalingalinga Likely to improve for debut sixth at Southwell recently; worth watching in betting market.

Sammy Most Welcome gelding; debut today and worth watching betting market for any clues as to his chance.

Don Alfred (IRE) Placed in turf maidens at Thirsk and Pontefract last summer; likely to be leading fancy here but it's worth noting that the Cole stable does not have a great all-weather record by any means.

Lucayan Monarch Ran green on debut at Lingfield last month; will probably improve a lot for that experience and stable always to be feared in this type of contest.

Taranaki Well beaten on only run so far, over this course and trip; hard to fancy here on second outing.
