Verdict

Mint Edition has been mopping up low-grade races on the Tapeta but faces a much tougher task in this company. Gincident missed out on a hat-trick when third off today’s mark at Southwell so this can go to SUDDEN AMBUSH (NAP). The latter made a winning reappearance in novice company at Lingfield and goes handicapping for the first time with Andrew Balding’s yard in red-hot form. Coco Jack ran consistently well over shorter trips last year but has his first outing since October.
