Shawkantango should make another bold bid despite his wide draw as he won a higher grade race over C&D last time. However, DA'QUONDE also won over track and trip a fortnight ago and, as she has more scope for improvement, Bryan Smart's filly gets the vote. Both Court Applause and Grand Stitch have plenty to find with the selection on latest running, but Spirit Of Coniston and Pitkin should be thereabouts on their best form. Soopacal has been running well on the Fibresand of late and seems better on that surface nowadays.
