Verdict

John Potts has shown dramatic improvement in recent weeks over this C&D and a four-timer can't be ruled out despite his latest weight rise. He can confirm recent running with Fortunate Bid. Director General was only beaten a neck by Pie Poudre over C&D last month and there shouldn't be much to choose between the pair again today but TRES FROIDE is long overdue a win on the all-weather and, with Nigel Tinkler's string in good form lately, the mare can finally get her head in front. No Trimmings won at Dundalk last month and may be the pick of the remainder.
