Mandalayan won over a mile on Polytrack earlier in his career. He’s shown promise over hurdles but has not won in more than two years and BIRDS OF PREY should have his measure. Twice a winner over hurdles at Taunton, he was also useful on the Flat and performed with credit in a couple of runs at Kempton in 2018. Canyon City has placed around here on the Flat but this looks an insufficient test of stamina nowadays. Prabeni appeals as the type to handle this surface so looks the pick of the remainder.
