Verdict
Pop Music is taken to gain the hat-trick here at the main expense of recent winners Granakey and Penang Cinta. The selection hasn't finished out of the top three in his five runs under today's jockey James Doyle and he can go in today despite a 4lb rise for his latest win. All of those runs were over this course and distance and he should be able to gain a good-enough pitch from his middle draw. Sarwin is 2lbs better off with the selection for a half-length defeat last time out so should go very close once again, whilst Generous Lad is interesting dropped slightly in trip. Granakey would have won by more if not for stumbling last time out and is interesting off the same mark up slightly in trip, whilst Penang Cinta has a 6lb penalty to shoulder for his win eleven days ago and it may make life tricky. Ultimately this looks fairly open, but we will stick with the in-form Pop Music to lead them a merry dance.
