Verdict

Brassbound has been raised 8lb for an easy win over 1m4f at Southwell and faces better opposition in this. Mister Bob will also find life tough 11lb higher than when scoring over track and trip in October. Spiritoftomintoul has been running well off top weight without being quite good enough but Watt Broderick has leading claims on his recent fourth in a tight finish over course and distance. However, VERY GOOD DAY tumbled down the weights last year and may come good again returning to today's trip after finding only one too good over 1m6f here last month.
