      Verdict

      Most of the octet can be afforded some sort of chance, although the waters are rather muddied by the presence of the unexposed Chabada, winner of a Fibresand maiden earlier this year. That was only a second career start for the filly and therefore it's impossible to accurately gauge her merit on such limited evidence. She must be included in calculations, likewise Lyric Poet, who ran a strange race here last time when staying on very late from way back and should definitely receive a market check. However, it's time that MAISON BRILLET got his head in front once again. He enjoys a good Polytrack record, was just inched out at Lingfield recently and can defy a reasonable mark of 68 here. Kames Park and Bow River Arch are fully exposed but it would not surprise to see either make a determined assault on the prize in an open contest.
