Doubts prevail about many of these and it is not a race to get too heavily involved in. Barry Hills does well at this track with his small team of AW horses so TEAMtalk go for Witness to put a nightmare run at this track in May behind him (his only poor run of the season) and score here from his decent outside draw. Consignia encountered a slow surface on his only outing at Wolverhampton but won his next race and improved for that run in defeat last time out at Southwell. He looks suited by seven furlongs these days and he should run well. Colonel Kozando is more consistent than most and he won here over six furlongs last time out in a decent time. Not yet to prove he stays seven furlongs he may be worth swerving here. Foronlymo has won here in the past and generally runs well on this surface. Finding an extended mile too long last time out he should find this trip more to his liking and is one for the shortlist.
