In depth

Verdict

FASCINATING left his earlier form behind to open his account over C&D a week ago. This is no tougher despite a 7lb rise and he can go in again. Golestan Palace was still beaten four lengths when runner-up here a fortnight ago, though he did have Miracle Play nearly two lengths behind, while one should be wary of the recent placed efforts of Phoenix Flame and Lord Of The Storm as they were both well beaten. Joe Strummer could make the frame and so could Kalendar Girl if she deigns to start after refusing to race last time.
