        Verdict

        Kyllukey passed the post in second in a blanket finish at Chelmsford but was awarded the race by the stewards’ and is 2lb higher today. Atyaaf and Zipedeedodah were both in close attendance at Chelmsford and it’s difficult to separate that trio while Captain Ryan landed a course and distance double back in January and a tongue-tie is added to the usual cheekpieces today. BAHANGO hasn’t won since scoring over track and trip in 2017 but has slipped down the weights as a consequence and a chance is taken on Patrick Morris’ charge having posted a better effort at Newcastle last time.
