The evergreen Almaty Express is always a force to be reckoned with around here and got back to winning ways over 6f last time. He's only 3lb higher but a high draw hasn't done him any favours. SLATEY HEN is running well and deserves a change of luck. The drop back to 5f will suit Violet Jordan's mare and she can get her head in front where it matters today. Rose Garnet should be thereabouts again but Divertimenti and Chateau Lola are others who will have to overcome a disadvantageous starting position while Spic 'n Span still looks too high in the weights.
