Verdict

Old Port has been raised 5lb for winning over a shorter trip here while Broomy Law also steps up in distance after finishing second at Newcastle, though was a long way behind the winner. CROWN POWER placed at Kempton on a couple of occasions at the end of last year having slipped down the weights and first-time cheekpieces may bring about improvement so James Fanshawe’s mare gets the vote. Mighty Power is another fitted with headgear for the first time but Cork maiden winner Rock Chan debuts for new connections.
