In depth

Verdict

Hipster won a handicap Epsom back in September and has leading claims on his return to action off a 3lb higher mark. Lilac Lace also arrives on the back of a win having landed a maiden on the Fibresand at Southwell last month but has yet to race on a fast surface. Pippy should have done a lot better at Lingfield last time and the headgear is applied for the first time while C&D winner Be On The Bell finished nearer last on her handicap debut at Kempton. STAFFHOSS showed plenty of early pace to overcome a wide draw at Lingfield and win his maiden and Mark Johnston's colt is taken to go in again with further progress likely.
