With the trip seeming too short for Keenes Day and with doubts about how Tarkheena Prince will act on this surface PRESS THE BUTTON could take advantage and make it back to back wins. The pick will carry a six pound penalty after his latest exploits at Kempton over this trip last time but will still receive weight from most of his rivals. On his penultimate start he was unlucky in running and proved his ability with his winning success last time. This is a step up in class but he looks to be the best suited in this contest. Keenes Day certainly has claims after back-to-back victories. The latest was over two miles here and with the previous coming at Southwell over one mile and six furlongs this shorter jaunt may be on the small side. Previous attempts at this distance have been fruitless but looking at the rest of the field he is a challenger. Tarkheena Prince has been impressive in recent outings all around this trip but all of those point to the fact he likes a bit more cut in the ground than offered here. Still improving, don't discount this one although we feel that he won't be at his best on polytrack. Bandama won a race of this standard on the turf last time and will appreciate the all-weather track after a couple of placings and has to be added to calculations while Jane Chapple-Hyam's French import Rock Soleil should also be respected after some decent showings in her native country. Press The Button though narrowly has the vote.
